Introducing a charitable new project
-coming soon-
Judge Carter’s Closet is a not-for-profit clothing bank dedicated to helping young and at-risk men look their best when meeting a court date or for job interviews.
Our name is in honour of my late father, Judge George E. Carter, who was a supporter and champion of assisting marginalized young men. He was also a strong believer in men dressing appropriately, especially in his courtroom.
Judge Carter’s Closet seeks the support and donations from those who can provide gently used or new suits, shirts, ties, belts and shoes for men who desire to turn their life around.
The desire to make a change is what defines the man. It can start with putting the right shoe forward. We continue to live in a world where clothing really can help make the man.
Hopefully Judge Carter’s Closet will receive your support. We look forward to your participation! Stay tuned for updates on this new project.
Judge Carter’s Closet will be overseen by his daughter Linda V. Carter who comes from a strong fashion background, as well as years in front of the camera as an actor, model, and more recently behind the scenes as producer of the film about her father entitled “The Making of a Judge.”
